The Ancient Ohio Trail has been created by the Center for the Electronic Reconstruction of Historical and Archaeological Sites (CERHAS) at the University of Cincinnati, and the Newark Earthworks Center at the Ohio State University at Newark, in collaboration with Virtual Grounds Interactive. John E. Hancock, Professor of Architecture, University of Cincinnati and Richard Shiels, Professor of History, The Ohio State University, are co-directors of the project. You can get more resources to plan your travels from the Ancient Ohio Trail project’s collaborative partners: all of the primary curators and interpreters of the earthwork sites.
